In Educational District 9 of Ba Singh Se professor Kolsnikov lectures to his student, though it is no the lecture that is of interest but instead that which takes place during the lecture, namely the two Daili agents listening in on the lecture. There are Daili agents posted everywhere across the country, the capital is no different. Though no one quite knows where they operate out of, other than Administrative District 7. Now in a dark operating room, these two Daili agents monitor the Professor Kolsnikov and his lecture.
The lecutre hall had three large windows that stretched over five meters high and a meter wide on the east wall, the room was lit by the sun and its rays brought a sense of life to the rather mundane and meticulous buildings that surrounded the university. The topic of the lecture could not have been any more appropriate nor the contents more accurate. The lecture had gone on for half an hour already, the less enthusiastic students were half asleep, the more eager ones were ensnared in a trance like states while listening to him.
"In this world there are no individuals, there are no collectives. No. There are only dividuals, people who are divided and put in demographics each day. Take the Ministry of the Interior and its almost infinite departments, they build roads, create telephone lines and the such, but with every new endeavor financed there is a new means of restriction. Now in this world the state does not build a wall to seal us within its borders and limit our actions, no, it builds roads and bridges so it can have new ways of implementing restrictions, they build roads so that they can divide us into the different demographics of drivers, they encourage us to travel so that they may study our movement patterns to measure us with another standard. This however, is not only present in Jazado but may be found in almost every nation in this day." Then the professor pauses to take breath and stares straight into the hidden camera the Daili were using to monitor his lecture, the two agents were stunned, did he know? Did they all know? Or was this just some accident, a one off chance that he stared in their direction. Then Kolsnikov continued.
The two agents sat facing each other, the only noise was Kolsnikov's lecture. One looked up and asked.
"Should we get him?"
"No." Replied the other one. "He didn't do anything, there's no disruption of social harmony or encouragement of schism."
"He's not wrong though."
"I know."
Both of them then turned back to the screen and continued listen in on the lecture.
